We have been singing together for over 10 years. Fully experiencing life, discovering our common potential. In moments of ABUNDANCE and LACK – we hear each other from near and far, and the songs lead us to each other.
Artists, visionaries, individualists, travelers. Women carrying echoes of old times, melodies of our ancestors, standing in the ABUNDANCE of courage and power to create new vibrations – free, intuitive, healing.
ABUNDANCE is the richness resulting from completeness, embracing the polyphonic paths of life, sometimes difficult and painful. The alchemy of sound teaches us to let go and accept, and sometimes to go through fire together – to stand in our inner strength, the power of laughter and the magic of sisterhood.
Just as traditional songs used to accompany people in many moments of life in the past, also for us throughout all these years one thing has not changed – we sing. We mature together with the songs that give direction to our path. It is a great honor to be able to share them with the world. Thank you.
We invite you most beautifully to celebrate our NOT-10th Anniversary. In ABUNDANCE, fullness of our femininity, memory of the chants that have accompanied us from the beginning of our path to this day – when the wildest dreams, woven in inner lands, emerge to the world through the voices of free women.
See you in ABUNDANCE. Women of Laboratorium Pieśni.

About Laboratorium Pieśni
Laboratorium Pieśni – Song Laboratory (world/ethno/spiritual/mystic folk music) is a female group of singers from Poland, created in 2013. Using traditional, polyphonic singing they perform songs from all over the world, mainly: Ukraine, Balkans, Belarus, Georgia, Scandinavia, Poland and many other places. They sing a capella as well as with shaman drums and other ethnic instruments (shruti box, kalimba, flute, gong, zaphir and koshi chimes, singing bowls, rattles etc.), creating a new space in a traditional song, adding voice improvisations, inspired by sounds of nature, often intuitive, wild and feminine.
The traditional songs are often brought from their source – different regions of Poland, Europe and world, by the members of the group – having their unique history and evolving in the course of work. Finally, they are performed in a new form – traditional or enriched.
The group is also creating theatre performances, where using traditional songs they tell stories about disappearing rites: ‘Pory Roku’ (Seasons) 2013, ‘Puste Noce – Pieśni, które już się kończą’ (Empty Nights – Songs that have come to an end) 2014.
Laboratorium Pieśni collaborated with Polish valued and known musicians, for example on a project with Kayah and composer Atanas Valkov, participated in album recordings and concerts “GOOD L.U.C.K”, by L.U.C artist, performed in the concert organized by Andrzej Smolik: “We Chose Freedom” and City of Sopot Birthday, along with other Polish musicians.
The “Rasti” album of the group was nominated for the Fryderyk 2020 award, in the category “Album of the year – World music”.
The group has visited over 15 countries with concerts and workshops (for example: USA, India, Switzerland, Japan, Spain, Israel, Iceland, Denmark, The Netherlands, France, United Kingdom). High Chai Tea House
High Chai Teahouse is a mobile teahouse that you will encounter at all our HeartFire concerts. Come home from your trip to the concert and get to meet old and new acquaintances in this dreamy Victorian ambiance. At the bar you can order the tastiest quality products from the Chai Angels.
The hand-brewed Chai Tea has grown famous, and you can only get it here. You will also find yogi tea, fresh mint, ginger and lemon tea. Not to mention all the sweet treats…. Both raw vegan and home-baked cakes, brownies and refreshing authentic drinks.
This bohemian atmosphere bar was designed by Ilona Dorgelo. The High Chai once started when Ilona made cake and chai for friends with a heartbreak. With the theater school and three-star restaurant De Librije as a background, this accidentally grew into a serious concept at our HeartFire concerts.
