Join Curawaka for an unforgettable concert experience that blends elements from indigenous traditions, traditional Latin American folk rhythms, and soaring melodies from Scandinavian folklore.
Curawaka is the musical group that has captured the hearts of millions of listeners worldwide. Pioneers of the genre “medicine music”, musicians Anna Bariyani, Tavo Vazquez, Alberto Arroyo and Dario Santamaria Romero – have all walked a path of prayer for decades and have all studied and learned from various indigenous peoples across the globe. Their songs celebrate the infinite beauty and sacredness of life, carrying a message of hope, trust, unity and joy in a time when the world yearns for reconnection and authenticity.

Their debut album, ‘Call Of The Wild’, released in 2019 on Nixi Music, launched Curawaka into wider public awareness. With hits including ‘Noku Mana’, ‘Cuñaq’, ‘Te Nande’ and ‘He Yama Yo’, they have reached the hearts of not only global underground earth warriors, but also the larger scene of alternative music, especially fans of folk and world music. In 2021 alone ‘Call Of The Wild’ received over 13 million plays on Spotify and YouTube, with numbers constantly rising.

About Curawaka
Curawaka is a contribution to the great shift we are living through in these times. It is our response to the deep calling to share the real and the wild, the true and good and sacred, the light and the hope. It is a commitment to do our part on this mysterious life journey – do the best we can to create a better world. We believe in the potential of each human beings to sprout his or her sacred purpose and grow strong and wild and free. We believe in the intelligence and powers of nature, and the coming of a new dawn. A sunrise in the story of humanity, and a time of blossoming for the Earth and all her children. This is our prayer, the sacred world rising, and we sharing the hope that we will overcome the storm that is upon us, and unite again as one sacred family.
We share chants and tunes from all over the world, songs that was crafted from our own heart as well as songs that somehow ended up in our hearts. Our music is an ode to the wild spirit, a tribute to Mother Earth and a loveletter to life itself. We are deeply inspired by native traditions and have been blessed to learn with and from various indigenous peoples around the world. In fact, each member of Curawaka has spent extensive time living and studying with different tribes of in different parts of the world We are in constant tribute to all indigenous peoples everywhere for their ancestral cultures, their traditions and knowledge, and their eternal mission to protect the sacred balance of life.
For us it is a joy and a blessing to share our music with a live audience, to share the medicine frequencies with a wider public and connect to the mysteries of Spirit through music and dance. We always carry our prayers with us on stage, seeking to lift the energy and connect again and again with the divine which surrounds and lives in us all at all times.
We are actively involved with supporting various projects that we feel passionate about, such as environmentalism, indigenous rights, clean water, reforestation, permaculture and much more.

High Chai Tea House
High Chai Teahouse is a mobile teahouse that you will encounter at all our HeartFire concerts. Come home from your trip to the concert and get to meet old and new acquaintances in this dreamy Victorian ambiance. At the bar you can order the tastiest quality products from the Chai Angels.
The hand-brewed Chai Tea has grown famous, and you can only get it here. You will also find yogi tea, fresh mint, ginger and lemon tea. Not to mention all the sweet treats…. Both raw vegan and home-baked cakes, brownies and refreshing authentic drinks.
This bohemian atmosphere bar was designed by Ilona Dorgelo. The High Chai once started when Ilona made cake and chai for friends with a heartbreak. With the theater school and three-star restaurant De Librije as a background, this accidentally grew into a serious concept at our HeartFire concerts.
