Join master percussionist, musician, and healer Poranguí for a workshop that will help you rediscover the first and most intricate instrument: your own body. In this circle of rhythm, sound, and movement, we explore where voice, percussion, and Spirit meet. By connecting with our body’s innate sound and cultivating expression in a celebratory container, we braid ourselves back into the fabric of life.

About Porangui
Poranguí is a world soul artist, live looping musician, and one-man orchestra whose cross-cultural background and ethnomusicology training at Duke University have shaped his distinctive sound. Raised in Brazil, Mexico, and the U.S., he has spent over twenty-five years as an artist, musician, healer, and educator, utilizing the transformative properties of sound and movement to foster individual and collective well-being.
Through live improvisational flow state consciousness, Poranguí channels ancestral songs and original compositions in real-time, creating unrepeatable ceremonies that transcend the boundary between performer and audience. His work serves the Music as a living consciousness and in doing so, serves Life itself.

How To Get There with public transport
Take the ferry from Amsterdam Central Station to NDSM Wharf. This ferry takes around 15 minutes. The ferry leaves every half hour. When you arrive at NDSM Wharf, it’s about a 5-minute walk to Pllek. Check public transport for your timetable.
Parking
There are plenty of parking spaces available around Pllek, on the NDSM site. The rate is €1.40 per hour between 9:00 AM and 7:00 PM, Monday through Sunday. But if an event is taking place on the NDSM site, parking can be difficult. Check the NDSM calendar for the latest information.
